Exit Through the Gift Shop

I have very mixed feelings about the movie "Exit Through the Gift Shop". I enjoyed the first part of it very much, I felt like I was being taught the culture of street art. I think they were very successful in portraying the excitement, adventures and even sometimes dangers that are part of a graffiti artists' lifestyle. However once they began focusing on Thierry I was a lot less intrigued. I thought the movie was going to be about the great legend, Banksy, and not about an amateur artist like Thierry. He didn't make art with the intention of sending a greater message to society or to create images with greater concepts to them, his art was completely commercial, it was all about earning profit and making a reputation for himself. It was like a factory, the number of pieces he had to exhibit was ridiculous. In the documentary they even show people being interviewed and commenting on the absurd quantity. It's like he didn't understand what all those graffiti artists he was filming were trying to do out there. Nobody even knows Banksy's identity. How could he have distorted the idea of graffiti art so much, after being in the presence of Banksy for such a long time?

Which elements are believable?

very realistic footage (filmed with a hand camera)
interviewing the person they are filming (thierry, all other graffiti artists)
having filmed the police kicking them out from spots + chasing them
including actual famous graffiti artists
having the artists’ (especially banksy) identity concealed

Which elements are not believable?
narrator’s voice (reminds me of someone who would be telling a fairytale)
the fact that the faces are concealed
